Transparent payment plans, dedicated fundraising support, and Express tours as the affordable way in — every dollar builds an experience she'll carry for life.
"You bring the dancer. We do the rest." Flights guidance, accommodation, every transfer, the full plan — sorted, start to finish.
A 24/7 tour manager, vetted accommodation, planned transport, chaperones welcome, and daily updates to parents.
Any dancer who loves to dance or is considering a career in it — plus parents, chaperones and family who want to come along and support.
Generally 12+ on studio teams (Sydney Gold Coast 8+). Younger dancers with exceptional ability and a parent chaperone may be considered. No maximum age.
Express tours are 7 nights; our longer Signature tours run around two weeks, all are held annually during school holidays, so easy to work around your busy studio calendar!
Usually 20–25 dancers. Whole tour groups average around 28 and max out at 56 (dancers, chaperones and family combined). We also work with smaller studios!
We absolutely LOVE having male dancers on tour — we always have boys join us, and the experience is in no way exclusive to girls. "SHE SHINES ON" is about inspiring and uplifting girls, but it's also about creating confident, kind and empowered young people. Our boys are such an important part of the tour community — and you can't spell "SHE" without "HE". Please be reassured that boys are fully included, valued and supported on our tours.
Not every studio tours — but every dancer deserves the chance. Our Open Teams bring together dancers from different studios into one crew, so you get the full SHE SHINES ON experience even if your own studio isn't going (yet). You'll train, perform, travel and grow alongside dancers who love it as much as you do — fully supported, start to finish. Come solo or bring a friend. Either way, you're part of the team from day one.
Yes — about one chaperone per 3–5 dancers (dancers 18+ don't need one). Chaperones must be 25+, and the studio owner can count as one.
Absolutely — spouses, grandparents and siblings (12+) are all welcome. Family and chaperone packages cost a little less than a dancer's. (Men can chaperone male dancers only, but are welcome as family members.)
Vetted apartments or hotels sleeping 4–6, with dancers grouped with their chaperone. Boys and girls room separately.
We arrange group flights for the whole team, or you can arrange your own.
A packed mix of dance classes (every style — jazz, ballet, hip hop, tap, contemporary and more), workshops, seminars with agents industry pros, performances and sightseeing.
At least a couple of years' dancing across a few styles — classes are challenging and not designed for total beginners.
Teams submit audition videos, and to date every one of our teams has been accepted. Disney controls the dates so it's never 100% guaranteed, but there's far more to the tour than Disney, and we'll always find a performance.
Studio owners design the team's performance costumes — an extra cost that's discussed together in the lead-up to the tour.
A deposit secures the place, then the balance is split into 3 instalments across the months before departure. Repeat dancers get 5% off future tours.
Hugely. You get our complete Fundraising Resource Kit — ideas, templates and step-by-step guides. Most dancers raise at least $1,000 each; many fund the whole tour. One NZ studio raised $21,000 profit in a single cabaret night. There is also funding available should you want to head down that route!
Roughly (USD, for a two-week tour — a 7-night Express tour needs less): meals $250–300, spending money $500–1,000, travel insurance $100–200.
After your studios info meeting, apply online — you'll fill in a short form, sign the tour agreement and pay the deposit.
On their application — we look for commitment, excitement, experience and passion. If you're not selected, your deposit is refunded.
The deposit is non-refundable, and the tour runs regardless of the Disney component. If we ever cancel a tour, all monies (including deposits) are refunded. Full cancellation terms are in the Tour Agreement.
